Connecting to Testnet
The Verdant Privacy protocol currently operates in a Testnet environment. This allows users to experiment with identity sharding and split execution without risking real assets.
Network Configuration
To interact with the platform, you must switch your wallet network to Solana Devnet.
For Phantom Wallet Users:
Open your Phantom wallet extension.
Click on the Settings icon (gear icon) in the bottom left.
Scroll down and select Developer Settings.
Toggle Testnet Mode to "On".
In the network dropdown that appears, select Solana Devnet.
For Solflare Wallet Users:
Open Solflare.
Click the Settings icon.
Select Network.
Choose Devnet.
Obtaining Testnet SOL (Faucet)
You will need Devnet SOL to pay for "gas" (transaction fees) and to simulate transfers. You can obtain this for free via a Faucet.
Navigate to the Verdant Command Center.
Connect your wallet.
Locate the "Request Airdrop" button in the top navigation bar.
Click it to receive 1.0 SOL (Devnet) directly to your connected wallet.
Alternatively, you can use the official Solana Faucet:
Copy your wallet address.
Visit faucet.solana.com.
Paste your address and select "Devnet".
Note: Testnet SOL has no real-world value. It is strictly for testing protocol mechanics.
