Creating & Managing Personas
A Persona in Verdant Privacy acts as an isolated container for your identity. Think of a Persona as a master folder that holds a specific group of wallet addresses (shards). You might create one Persona for "Day Trading" and a completely separate Persona for "NFT Storage."
Step 1: Access the Identity Manager
Navigate to the Verdant Dashboard.
Connect your Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack).
Locate the Identity Manager sidebar on the left side of the interface.
Step 2: Create a New Persona
Click the + Create New Persona button.
A modal window will appear asking for a Persona Label. Enter a name that helps you identify this profile (e.g., "Alpha_Fund_01").
Click Initialize.
Wallet Signature: Your wallet extension will prompt you to sign a message.
Note: This signature is free. It allows the protocol to cryptographically derive a unique seed for this specific Persona based on your master private key.
Step 3: Managing Active Personas
Once created, your Persona will appear in the sidebar list.
Active Status: Click on a Persona to make it active. The dashboard will update to show the balance and shards associated only with that Persona.
Stealth Mode: You can toggle a Persona to "Stealth" in the settings. This hides the balances from the main dashboard view to prevent prying eyes in public spaces.
Deleting a Persona: You can remove a Persona from your local view. However, since the Persona is derived from your wallet key, you can always "recover" it later by creating a new Persona with the exact same name.
