Prerequisites
Before interacting with the Verdant Privacy Testnet, ensure your environment meets the necessary technical requirements. Verdant is a decentralized application (dApp) built on Solana, requiring a compatible non-custodial wallet and a modern web browser.
Browser Requirements
For the best performance and stability during the cryptographic shard generation process, we recommend using Chromium-based browsers:
Google Chrome (Latest Version)
Brave Browser (Shields down for the dApp domain recommended)
Microsoft Edge
Wallet Requirements
You must have a Solana-compatible non-custodial wallet installed as a browser extension. Verdant does not hold custody of your private keys; all interactions are signed locally on your device.
Supported wallets include:
Phantom (Recommended for best UI integration)
Solflare
Backpack
Hardware Considerations
The Verdant client performs lightweight cryptographic operations locally to generate shard addresses and encrypt intents before sending them to the network.
Memory: Minimum 4GB RAM is recommended.
Connection: A stable broadband connection is required to ensure synchronization with the Solana RPC nodes.
